4th to 6th Weeks old

It's been so long i never update about my boy. Been so busy taking care and understands him.

During his fourth weeks, his intakes have gradually increased to 110 ML. Then he is still having trouble pooing, but at least is once a day and super alot and smelly. He wants to flip and lay his tummy on the bed. So i helped him and hold him and let him enjoy his tummy on bed. He can lift his head! I am so happy to see him grow each day. And i bathe him myself for this week! Though i'm not experience, at least i tried to bathe him, so that i will know more about him. This week, he also need to be get his Hep B (first month) injection. He sleeps and sleeps, then when i put him on the weighing scale, he didn't even move. LOL. This month, he weighs about 4.115KG and measures at about 52CM long now. His head circumference also now turned to 36CM. So he's growing. Then he was so funny, the nurse injected him, then he opened his eyes big and then start to cry, but for about few seconds, he went back to sleep again. LOL. I don't need to worried that he will cry like mad after we go out the room. HAHA! The injection was done at Polyclinic, and everything can be deduct via Medisave or even the baby bonus card. Everything injection until he's primary school will costs about 300 over. So really helps us saved alot. So after the injection, we brought him to Northpoint for his first haircut, which is shave bald! He looked so adorable in bald! LOL!

Everyday passed so fast and he's at his fifth weeks now, he's been cooing and he's more aware the environment now. I tried to shift left and right, he will follows. I tried to call him and talk to him, he will listen and smile at me. Then when he passed out gas and poop, he will gave this guilty look, with his eyes big and pout his lips (abit like the puss in boots from Shrek). It's so funny, we just can't stop laughing. But it's also the continuous of his super cranky mood again. I was suspecting whether he's having Colic. But i couldn't tell, because he will still falls asleep after each feed. Just that at about 8.30pm, he will try to cry and he's tired, but couldn't fall asleep. This began to made me worried. So i read the article, there's one mummy suggested that after baby feed, carry him upright and wait for him to burp and remain upright for another 5-10mins, then put his down to sleep. And if wants baby to pass out gas, when he's upright facing out, lift his both legs up to his tummy and he will pass out gas. So these are the ways to make babies release winds.

So now he is in his sixth weeks, he now can recognised his daddy and mummy. He will look for his daddy or mummy when someone carry him. He's still giving the puss in boots look whenever he knows he did something wrong or funny. He likes to sit up, but because his back is not fully strong yet. So we can't make him sit long. Now.. he knows how to smile and laugh (without sound). He knows that we are playing with him, he will start to move his legs and hands excitedly and then give us the smile. So adorable and it melts my heart totally. :) Now he also starts to coo even more, he can looked at you and wants to talks to you, with his oooh and aaahs.. He's saliva also slowly builds up, so sometimes he will choked on his own saliva and cough. But this week also made us confirmed that he is having colic. It all started on Thursday, he's totally wide awake after i bathe him from 12pm to 7pm then falls asleep after feed. He kept crying and wanted to be carry. Then once he falls asleep in my arms, once i put him down to his cot, his eyes will be wide awake and starts to cry again until 7pm. I don't even have time to bathe, to eat and even drink water. Then it's getting worser each day. Friday (yesterday), he managed to sleep throughout the morning and afternoon and woke up at about 12pm for his feed, then after his feed, he's totally wide awake again. He just wouldn't want to sleep. Then i can't even go for my lunch. Then waited until his next feed at 2pm, he's slowly getting tired, but still wouldn't sleep. So i let him sleep in my arms and at about 3.30pm, after his burp, then he fell asleep. He woke up at 7pm and after his feed, he's wide wide awake again and my husband and i have to take turns to have our dinner. Then he began his crankiness and cried on and off, so we found out that he might have gastrointestinal problem, because he kept squeezing out the gas and his face will totally turned red and many times he will vomit out his milk. Then his fart smell really very smelly, at times we thought he poop. So i guess he's having tummyache and that there's alot of wind and we need to make him burp and pass out the gas. I tried to apply the Ru Yi Oil on his tummy, blow his umbilical cord to keep dry and prevent water from entering. Then gave him tummy massage, back massage and even gave him evening bath also. i even gave him drink the gripe water. It helps abit but sometimes he just won't drink and he kept feeling hungry and wants to suck. Made milk for him, he drank abit and push away and starts to cry again, and then wants to suck again. I read from the article, they mentioned that warm baths can sooth baby too. So i did and it did helped abit, but he only fell asleep at 2am! I am totally bushed and he woke up for his feed at 6.50am and 9.50am. So his feed totally super irregular now and i hope he can adjust back his feeding and sleeping time.

So now he is sleeping, i am not sure whether his Evening Colic will start again or not. But i heard the time will always be the same time everyday and it may last until 3 months. It will come and go off by itself. So at the moment, we really can't do anything but to help him pass out the gas/winds from his tummy. My friend suggested me to get Anti-wind drops from pharmacy, so i guess we have to go out and buy later. Hopefully his colicky moments will go off soon and fast! I want my smiley baby back!!!!

Third Weeks Old

This week, my boy is getting naughtier and naughtier. He can sleep without swaddling and with dim lights. His milk intake have increased to 90ML per feed at every 2-3 hourly. :)

Then he began to observe people's face and will look at you when you are talking to him. Then he will smile at you. So adorable.

He also starts to sleep less during the day and well at the night. He starting to be cranky when he's tired and couldn't sleep. He loves people to carry him. He can sleep in your arms, when you lay him down on bed. He will be wide awake and doesn't want to sleep even if he's super tired and kept yawning.

He's neck and legs are so strong now. When you tried to move it, he uses his whole strength to resists it. How amazing.

He also starting to have constipation. He will make alot of constipated noise during sleeps. Then he gets so dehydrated, his lips are dried and chapped. So i have no choice to give him warm water before and after 30 mins of his feeds to hydrate him and make sure he can pass motion. I also got the help of my masseur, whom had taught me how to massage my baby in order to make him pass motion. Tried it yesterday and he really did pass motion. Tried today and it works again. So i will try to massage him daily, in order to regulate his bowels system. :)

This sunday we will be celebrating for his one month old. Is an early celebration. But i still felt time really pass very fast. And i can't wait to experience more from him. :) Just love to see him getting chubbier each day.

Two Weeks Old

He began to increase his intakes, so its a relieved. Although the timings are not so regular. He kept feeling hungry and spitting out milk or even vomit out milk.

Then he also made alot of sounds and noises. When he yawns, he yawn like an adult. When he sneeze, if he can't sneeze out, he will made those cute noise which is so funny. We will still laughed at it. Then he will start his oooh and aaahs.

For his age, he is quite clever, he can take out his mittens and kick off his booties. Then when he's super hungry, he will push the milk bottle up when you feed him or he will try to grab the bottle like as if he's holding it. So cheeky and naughty. Too bad i can't cut his finger nails yet. He kept scratching his face. So angry to see his face with scratches.

And at this week, he has already finish one can of formula milk. -_- quick right? Then also at this week, my milk supplies suddenly getting lesser and lesser. No matter how i massage with hot towel or used the breast pump. My milk still less than 5ml. At this week, i also had an emotional breakdown. I had a dispute with my family and i couldn't stop crying and cried for a week ever since. I have read that because our sudden drop in hormones level. We will tend to be easily emotional and this is also the critical stage to get Post-natal Depression. So have to be positive and control as much as possible.

So let's see next week how my boy is doing.

One week old

The first week was very torturing, because i cannot bathe and cannot wash my hair during my confinement. And my stitches was so painful and my breast milk only start around the forth day. Then the engorgement was so painful, i understand the painful experience of engorgement. Plus my milk was so little, i only managed to expressed a little out, and my boy get so frustrated, because my milk was so little, he only managed to latched on a few seconds and couldn't satisfied him. Then i was so stressful and i don't feel happy, because my husband not around to support me as i stayed at my parents home. And he just started his new job. Then my breast milk slowly getting lesser and lesser.

At this stage, my boy is trying to adjust this new world. We have to adjust to his needs like his feeding and sleeping time. At start, he couldn't feed well, only drank 15 to 20ml, which was less than what he drank at the hospital (40ml).

Suddenly there are a few nights, he couldn't sleep well. I guess he's afraid of the dark and need to be swaddle. So i can only observe him day by day.

Welcome our Little Boy.

On 15th November, i went for usual gynae appointment. My weight was still not increasing, and i am still having regular contractions which i don't feel it. I only felt cramps. My cervix also dilated a bit only. So my gynae advised me to admit to hospital as i may be in labour anytime or maybe not. So i chose to admit to hospital and stay for a night. I was like on standby mode, but still nothing happens.

So the next day morning (16th November), i suddenly felt that i should wake up and bathe and wash my hair. After i came out, just when i was about having my breakfast (i haven't got the chance to touch it), my gynae came and checked and said my cervix have dilated at 1cm. She also said i am still having regular contractions from the CTG Scan. But my naughty boy still don't want to come out. So she ask me whether i want to be induce or go home. So i chose to induced. Then she asked me to proceed to the labour ward, so she will just burst my water bag and we will wait for the labour to kick in.

When i reach the labour ward, i saw alot of mummies also waiting to deliver their child. Looks like the nurses and midwives would be extremely busy.

The nurse gave me the robe and asked me to change. Then she proceed to ask me some questions and ask me to read about the epidural consent form on the side effects and sign on it. Then she told me the whole procedure she is going to do and then make sure i am aware of it, then we start.

First, she insert something to my anus to let me pass motion (Incredible, it takes only seconds for me to rush to the toliet), you wouldn't want to poo poo during pushing. Then she shaved a bit for me and then a doctor came and inject the Epidural to my spine nerves. The Epidural injection was not painful at all. It's just a tinge feelings. Then my gynae came in to break the water bag and said will come in to check again. I didn't felt a gush of water, just only felt something have poke my water bag. Before that, they have to give me intravenous Drip of antibiotic, because i have Streptococcus B, so just to make sure baby won't get infected. Now everything done and i just have to wait for my cervix to dilate.

So my husband came and support me. Then i felt very hungry, because i didn't have my breakfast. HAHA! So they made toast and gave me Milo to drink. After few hours of waiting i felt asleep. Then suddenly i felt something flowing from down there, then the nurse came and check, then i realised that i have passed urine uncontrollably (one of the side effects from epidural).

Then at around 2pm, my cervix have dilated at only about 2cm. Then my husband and i predicted our boy would be out in the evening. Then there was one moment that i felt the contractions, it was rather pain and i now understand the pain of labour, then the nurse just asked me to turn to my right to let the epidural flow. Then the pain was gone. Then at about 4plus, the nurse came and checked and my cervix have dilated at 4cm. Then at about 5plus, they said i am ready to be push to the birth room. The birth room was extremely cold!!!! There's a small tv and we watched street fighters and then after the movie ended, my gynae came in and said i am fully dilated and can get ready to push. Oh my god, it was merely only about 45 mins and my cervix can fully dialted from 4cm to 10cm. My gynae said it will take about an hour for my boy to come out. Looks like the street fighter movie excited my boy. LOL.

So i just follow what the midwife instructions by pushing when contraction starts, then after several pushes. After 30mins, the midwife said she can call my gynae and can see the baby head. Then i quickly talk to my tummy and tell my baby that the gynae is coming, and he must faster come out. HAHA, after my gynae sat down and asked me to push, very fast, i have delivered my boy at 6plus, just as we predicted. I didn't notice he was out until i open my eyes and saw he was on my chest and at that moment i was abit surprised on how amazing it can be to give birth to a little life of my own. I couldn't digest and still felt overwhelmed until the next day then i can accept it. HAHA.

So my gynae said i have natural tear and did the stitches for me. Lucky she didn't cut, as natural tear already so irritated and very uncomfortably pain for me after the epidural wear off. So the midwife clean my baby and me, and then bring us all back to my room. Then everyone was waiting to see our bundle of joy.

The experience throughout the pregnancy and the delivery was so amazing and time really flies so fast. I am happy that i am officially a mummy now. :)

37 Weeks and Signs of Labour

Haven't been updating my blog haha.

Okay. Last Saturday (6th Nov), i suddenly blackout and i didn't realised i actually blackout and hit my head. Lucky i didn't hit my tummy. I only heard my husband calling for me and i suddenly woke up and realised i'm on the floor. So we have to postpone our haircut appointment and rest at home.

Lucky gynae's appointment is on the 8th Nov, so i can tell my gynae what had happened. Then she said is because of the blood flow and that i cannot stand too long. As i am now at the last trimester of my pregnancy. Then i told her about the Lower backache and the discharge, she said it could be the Braxton Hicks Contractions. So is the practising of labour. Then because of my dropped of weight and less baby movement. I have to do the CTG scan and found out that i have regular contractions. So i am given Anti-biotics for my discharge again. -_-~ Because of the GBS... And i have to count my baby movement everyday from 9am to 9pm. At least must have ten movements irregardless anytime.

Then last two days, i suddenly had diarrhea and i realised i have passed out a small red blood clot while washing. Then before that, middle of the night i already have a sharp pain down there and thinking could be the cervix trying to dilate a bit? Then next morning felt slight cramp at my lower abdominal. Even after i found out the clot, i am having cramp as well. So i called the clinic and informed them about it. The nurse told me it could be the Mucous Plug and ask me to wait for contractions or water bag burst then admit to the hospital. At least is nothing to panic about.

Then next day around 6am, i felt cramp at my upper abdominal and it lasted until 6.53am. So i guess is just the beginning of the labour. But since it stops, then i guess is okay. Then everything is as per normal after that.

Today, i suddenly felt my lower back ache again at about 1.35pm and it was so sharp and i can feel it is pulsating on and off. I can feel the cold sweat coming. Then it went off again. Then 2.05pm ache again. Then it went off again. I think it is really time soon. I also have been having loose bowels, so just the real intensify contractions or water bag burst then we can see our baby soon. I just hope that he is doing fine inside and really hope to see him soon.

So my next appointment would be weekly now and is coming Monday. Hopefully everything would be okay for both of us. :)

Lower backache and Cramps

Today i have this lower backache and cramps again. It makes my tears flow out. It's so pain until i cannot endure it. So i went to google and there are two possibilities.

One, is because of the pressure from the Uterus and the baby. As now the baby is consider 'lightening'. So there would be pressure and will cause backache. But usually this is very common. So i hope is just because of this.

Two, is contractions and can be back labour. Which means baby is coming out anytime soon. But with a few other symptoms like, signs of show (mucus plug thin and came out), severe contractions, increase in watery discharge and the most obvious is water bag burst. These days every morning, i would have light yellow watery discharge and it is quite alot. And been having a slight sharp pain down there. So i have to observe now. Just in case baby really wants to come out early.

I haven't try out the products that we have bought yet. OMG! Having a strange feeling these days. But i hope is just sensitive. But i have dreamt of a friend whose going to give birth the next day and she really did. This nesting feelings is so scary... But even if baby wants to come out early, i just hope that he would be healthy and bubbly. :)

36 Weeks

Yesh! One more week to go and my baby will be in his full term! Which means he can be out anytime between 37 to 42 weeks.

Recently i felt my tummy abit dropping, which i read that it is the stage called 'Lightening'. Which means baby is preparing his head down to my pelvic and labour. Sometimes i can feel my tummy slowly moving down, i can feel it. Is like baby is trying to shift downwards. :)

But today i felt abit cramp on my lower abdominal and back. So i hope is nothing serious. I have read, it is because of the pressure from the baby and the uterus as to prepare for labour. So there would be cramps. But it can also be a sign of labour if there are any bleeding follow by. So far so good. Just hope baby will be fully mature then come out. Don't want him so fast come out and not fully mature yet. But of course i am still having pains on my left pelvic whenever i wake up to pass urine. This is going to be tough for me for the next 27 days! Just 27 days more and we will get to see our precious!

Baby have been moving lesser now and sometimes when i ate his favourite food like Apple, he will still kick me, so is a good sign. Hee... But of course i have been naughty recently by drinking alot of cold drinks. :p I just couldn't help it. I felt very hot, i also drank alot of water of course. Cannot have too much sugar in my blood. I have been telling myself to drink more warm water. Sigh... guess i really should discipline myself and wack myself, if i drink cold drinks again. :p

Now i can start to take 'cooling' stuffs especially Coconut drink. I have heard that baby would be very clean and it can reduce the jaundice level. So gonna try at least twice a week. :)

35 Weeks

Now i am at the stage of 35 weeks, whereby my feet will starts to swell. And yes indeed, no matter how much water i drink, it is still swelling. This is call Oedema. As long as it is not the whole body swell, then it is still okay. If whole body are swelling. Then you must let your gynae know about it.

Then i also started to have some soreness from my pelvic, especially at my left lower part. Checked with gynae, she said it is normal. Because the baby is trying to shift position and trying to get himself engage, so he's been hitting my pelvic bones. So whenever i sit up or wear pants. The pain will sure be there. Well.. It is going to last until the day he's born. Wish me luck man.

So my boy is now 2.3KG on 25th October. Glad that he is growing well. And i think most probably he would weigh about 3KG during his birth. Oh man.. How am i going to push him out during labour. LOL. :P

So my next appointment would be on the 8th November. Afterwhich would be weekly appointment, as i will be reaching 37 weeks and it is consider as Full-term. :)

These days my boy very cheeky, he kept kicking his mummy (not that i am complaining, i actually love his kick, stretch and shifting from left to right) whenever his mummy is trying to do her work or taking a short nap in the train. Whenever i start to read, he will kick me or elbow me. Whenever i tried to shut my eyes to rest abit, he will start to kick me. Then at night.. I can't even sleep, because he kept kicking me. HAHAHA. Well, at least i know he still got space to move around and i rather he move and kick me. Now he is moving and kicking me, guess he can feel that i am writing about him. HAHA.

I really can't wait to see him. Time is ticking, i have 4 weeks and 6 days to see him! YAY!

Dreams

My dreams are getting more and more vivid and it came true yesterday. The previous night i dreamt that one of my schoolmate told me she is going to deliver her baby boy tomorrow. So i wanted to Post on her Facebook wall. But scared people will think i am crazy, so i Facebook message her in the morning and told her about it. I didn't really think too much, until about 11pm, i saw her Facebook wall full of wishes and indeed she gave birth to her boy yesterday!!!! How real was that? Psychic right?

I think my boy is giving me hints man. HAHA! Who knows he will be the psychic. Then last night i had a dream that tells me, "Three times, three chances." I wonder what it means. Maybe i may strike lottery? LOL. Well, all i hope is that my boy is healthy, cheerful and bubbly!

Late night, i suddenly felt sharp pain in my tummy. I thought i was going to have another gastric pain again. But the feelings are different. Well, i am not so sure now. But anyways, my appointment is next Monday. So i hope everything will be fine. :)

Infection and Intestinal Problems

I have just recovered from Urine Infection since 20th September, and just seen my gynae on Monday. Yesterday, suddenly my whole abdominal pain and i thought is like contractions, because the pain is like 10-15minutes interval since 9am till 9pm after i knockout and sleep. The pain is still bearable, but very uncomfortable. Tears almost flowing out. And vomited 8 times that day. So i called the clinic and got to see my gynae. Did the CTG ultrasound for 20 minutes, to detect the contractions and baby heart rate. Every contractions, baby kept moving and i have to click on the button to shows that baby is moving.

Then went in to see my gynae, and baby is fine, but she said i have to do a urine test to see if there's any infection. So after test and found there's infection in my urine. And the pain could be due to some intestinal problem. So she prescribed me Anti-biotics, Ventolin (to relax my uterus muscles - Side effects -Palpitation) and to curb my vomits. Then after that, she said i have to do a urine culture to see what germs that causes me to have recurring infection.

She is trying to stopping me from giving birth to a premature baby, as she felt full term is still the best. So i hope the test results would not be so severe and of course i want a healthy baby. But the ventolin really very strong, till now i still have on off palpitation after i took once only.

So hopefully i can have a full term healthy baby!

33 Weeks

Yesterday went for appointment and just as i expected. Baby weighs at 2.054KG. *Grin*

Gynae show us baby face and he is so cute and his mouth moved, he's like munching something. LOL. So cute man. But my Iron level have dropped from 15.4 to 11.5. So is no good, and i need to pump up my Iron. Lucky my sugar level is normal. As doc is wondering, why in the middle of the night i passed urine so much and i felt thirsty all the time. So she's afraid that i might have diabetes. Lucky don't have!!!

I don't feel so good these days, i felt sick yesterday, is like i caught a cold and i am feeling lethargic with backaches. Is like you know you are going to have a feverish feeling. So i drank alot of water to clear the heatiness in my body.

This morning, i woke up with slight headache again, Abdominal pain, whole body very lethargic, back pain and most scary things is.. I am feeling nausea again! The morning sickness feeling seems to strike again. I also felt very tired and my brain really cannot work anymore. I think i really can fall anytime and just sleep there.

So i went to google about the nausea feeling at this stage. It is totally normal, as there are possibilities that the morning sickness will comes back again at the last stage of pregnancy. Because of our growing and expanding Uterus, our body is preparing for labor. But i just hope that it won't get worst and affect baby's growth. Just want him to be healthy and myself to be healthy too.

I wouldn't want to kept vomiting during the labor and no energy to push in the end. Wish me luck and hope everything would be fine for both of us!

32 Weeks

32 weeks is ending soon. My next appointment is on 11th October, and soon it will be 33 weeks the next day. HAHA.

Yesterday i have started to feel my whole body ache and the weight of my baby. The ache was so badly sore until i cannot endure anymore. I just want to fall and seat anywhere to rest my back. Then i also felt very lethargic and super tired i can just sleep anywhere. LOL. I also suddenly lost my appetite, but i am still having normal meals, just that i will just get fulled very easily. Hopefully he will grow well inside.

But as usual, i couldn't sleep well at night, because of frequent runs to the toliet and the baby kicking night and day. But it is a good sign that he is healthy. Yes! His punches is getting firmer and firmer until i cry in pain. HAHA! Yesterday i was asking my husband, is that his fist? It was so round and very protruding. At the same time, he's also very cheeky. He knows when we are talking about him and when we are not. He will punch me if anyone of us talks about him. LOL. Funny right? But when i talk to him and tell him to eat more and be a healthy boy, he will quietly listen to me and then give me a punch, as an acknowledgment. Simply just love him. So obedient.

Now left about seven weeks or maybe less than that. I just can't wait to see him and showered him with our love!

30 Weeks

Now i am in my 30 weeks of pregnancy. Went for my appointment on Monday and baby is 1.4 KG, so my gynae says that his birth weight would be around 2.8KG to 3KG if his progress continue to be like this. So baby is healthy. Phew.. hehe.. But mummy is not. Mummy got urine infection and need to take anti-biotics. -_-.. i am constantly having urine infection. I drank alot of water, but still having this problems.

So my weight is 67.7KG now, have put on 6.9KG for this pregnancy, ok, just as i expected. Because i can only gain below 10KG. Minus away baby weight (1.4KG), Amniotic fluid (2KG) and Placenta (3KG), 0.5KG of fats have gone to me.. Phew... I tried to eat in moderation. Hee..

So my next appointment would be at my 32 weeks, which is 2 weeks later. I was wondering whether to take the 3D scan. Very curious on how my baby looked like. Really want to see his face. Then subsequently would be in weekly basis until signs come in and due for labour. OMG! Times really flies...

So now gynae says, she would be giving me intravenous drip of Penicillin during labour, this is for the Streptococcus B. Then after birth, they will check the baby whether he will get infected or not. I hope he won't get infected and remains a healthy baby.

These days he is really cheeky. When my husband tries to talk to him on my left tummy (which he always stretches and kicks), he will response to the right by kicking my tummy. HAHAHA... Cute right? Then whenever i drink water or take supplements or any food that he likes, he will give me a good kick. HAHA. Good Good!

If he doesn't like the food, he will be rejecting and make me puke. LOL. So far so good. Fingers cross, because i want him to grow well inside my womb. :)

28 Weeks

ok. i haven't been updating my blog. Finally i have got my report from National Skin Centre. Tests shows that i am negative towards Penicillin. But the consultant said, it doesn't mean i am totally negative towards it. Because i hasn't been taking the anti-biotics for almost 26 yrs after i was born. So which means i still have chances that i am allergic to it. So he suggested that take in small dosages.

Then i will be taking the medication on my next appointment which is next Monday. Worried that i am allergic to it. Hopefully not.

Ok. Talked about the diarrhea, finally it has been gone for a week. My diarrhea stopped last Saturday. It went on for a week until it finally stopped. Then went to see my gynae and she prescribed me the Lecto Forte (i guess it spelt this way) lol, anyway is a good bacteria. So i can't take any diary and milk products at that moment. But now is finally better. Phew..

Ok, i am at my 28 weeks, oh my gawd! 2 more days, my baby will be in his 29 weeks, which means the starting of third trimester!!! Then i can really start counting down. I really can't wait to see him soon!

My ex colleague have passed me down alot of useful stuffs. She gave us the Changing and bathing station, waist level and it still looked very good. Then the rocking feeding chair, the car seat and baby tricycle. LOL. So kind of her. hehehe. It really helped us saving alot.

Now what we need is the pram, but that one still can wait. Wait till my baby needs it then we get it. hehehe.

26 Weeks and Appointment with my Gynae

Had my appointment with my gynae yesterday. To my surprised, i have gained from 63.5KG to 66.2KG within a month! OMG! My baby gained from 438grams to 878grams within a month too. LOL. So my gynae said, all the weight remaining have gone to mummy. HAHAHA! Sob Sob! How to lose weight like that after birth??? LOL

Then we did the ultrasound scan and found that baby's head is on my left tummy and his arm is on his head. How cute is that? So now i know that he has been always elbowing me instead of kicking me. HAHAHA. But i still love him.

Okay, now is about the Streptococcus B, because of the skin centre, i have to delay my treatment. But gynae said, if i were to really allergic to Penicillin. There is another way to treat. Meaning, if i chose Natural birth and i won't be given any anti-biotics, but when baby is out, she will immediately give baby penicillin, as she said baby won't be allergic to penicillin. But what my concerns now is, whether my labor time would be short and sweet? Will i be able to push the baby out like within 15 minutes or as fast as possible? As i really do not want to put my baby in risks.

Then another method would be caesarean, lesser risks for baby. But troublesome for me. As my wounds healing, usually not that fast. But baby infection rate would be reduced even more than natural birth. So i am now thinking it over very clearly, whether natural birth or caesarean. Sighh... Headache man. Although this bacteria is common and 10% of pregnant mothers will have it. I also felt very sad by the case whereby baby will be in risks of infected the bacteria. Of course i will stay positive and be strong, and always hope that my baby will be strong and healthy. So being cheerful also play a part to make myself happy and always think positively.

Okay. I still have 14 weeks to think about it. Wish me luck!

Now baby is 26 weeks, he should be able to open his eyes and see the light from my tummy. Although not for long, as his sights are not fully develop. All i know is that his sense of hearing is quite good. When i played twinkle twinkle little star, he will respond with rumbling and kick. :) And his kick is getting stronger and stronger. hehhee.. My strong little boy! So now just hope that he will grow very well and i can't wait to see him man. Really want to hold him in my arms and shower him with lots of love!

Diarrhea at 25 weeks

Sigh.. I have been having soft stools since Wednesday and started diarrhea since Saturday. At first i thought what happened, thought it would be the sign of gastric. Then Monday after my appointment with my gynae, she prescribed me Charcoal tablets and said if the diarrhea persists, just drink more water and let it clear by itself. I took two tablets of Charcoal twice and looks like it doesn't help. But it seems to harden my stools abit, although is no more watery.

This morning, i had two pieces of white bread and in no time, i went to toliet again. Then realised i have passed out the charcoal tablets, as my stools are black in colour. What does this shows man. A sign of indigestion?

So now i think whatever i ate, i will pass out. So i can only have light meals at the moment until i am fully recover. But after i drank the Repalyte to replenish my fluids, i felt much better actually, and i not sure why.

Just hope that i will recover fast and won't affect my baby's growth.

25 Weeks with Braxton Hicks Contractions

Hello all, time really flies.. Now my boy is 25 weeks big inside my tummy. So should be weighing around 660grams (Average weight) now.

He should be able to open his eyes abit and his sense of touch have been developed. hehe.. i can now tickle my tummy and see him rumble inside me. :p

As usual, he responded more to his daddy than his mummy. Hahaha. When his daddy start to call him, he will response with a kick. Then when i call him, he will stay still. -_-~

This morning, i didn't know i had Braxton Hicks Contractions until i google about it. As i was tidying up things from this trolley of stuffs. Not sure is it i moved too much or what. I felt my tummy so tightening and the baby is like scratching me from inside. Is not very painful, is just uncomfortably needle pricking. LOL. And he continued quite sometime. Few weeks back i have encountered these tightening before, but is not so long like today. HAHA. So i went to read the article, it says this contractions is to prepare us, mothers for the real pain during labor. So in a way, we will be much stronger and we will know when is the real deal coming when it is time for real labor. But it is also a sign of dehydration, so have to drink as much water as possible and have a good rest.

So at least these experiences are explainable and common. hehe.. Something new to me now. I just can't wait man. Next week would be 26 weeks. Oh man.. That is really fast! LOL. And then 3 more weeks, i would be in my third Trimester and will start to count down from there. Hehehe..

Can't Wait!!!

Hate to wait so long at National Skin Centre

Yesterday, i had an appointment to do the patch test at the Skin Centre. My appointment time is 10.30am. Guess what, we reached at about 10.45am, registered and seat at one place to wait for my turn.

We waited until 11.30am, there is still no signs of my turn and everyone came behind me had gone for their tests, i think is some blood test or what. But cannot be right? No one came up to me and tell me what to do. Then at about 11.45am, i told my husband we should go ask. Then we heard from one nurse shouted: "Ok lah! Let them in lah!" She sounded so unwillingly and is like a terrible procedure to do a patch test and others would be easier than mine.

Then waited for another five minutes, a nurse came to me that there are three painkillers they don't have, but they have 15 series of other medicines that can be tested. So i thought they are painkillers as well, so i agreed. My husband then looked at me and said, "Since they don't have the three painkillers, why do you still want to test? You have to find the objectives right?" Then i was like, okay, then you help me ask lo.

Then he asked me to check with my gynae, if these three painkillers don't have, should we continue to test. Then few minutes later, the gynae assistant called and said no need to do the test if they don't have the painkillers that we require to test. So we rejected the test.

But the nurse seems to be quite persistent and wants us to try others, and they are mostly antibiotics and there is only one painkiller which i have not taken before. She said can try, but not sure is it suitable for pregnant woman. I was like taken aback and said, "No need la, i never take this medicine before, plus my gynae only wants me to test for the three painkillers which you claimed don't have, so i rather not try." I have already took the blood test for the four main Antibiotics, so i guess is enough. And it costs $140 just for the blood test. It was so expensive. I rather not try the 15 series and later part cost more than that. And that was about 12.30pm when we left the clinic.

So we have to wait for the blood test results and to my amazed. We have to wait for about three weeks, because i did the test on a Friday. So i have to call and see whether the results are here, then fix an appointment to see the consultant. I think my husband is going to give the consultant some hell of scoldings man. For making us go one big round. I mean how can a doctor doesn't know whether the skin centre doesn't have the three painkillers that i am required to be tested. It seems like there are no specific and good coordination and communications between the doctor and nurse.

Now i have to delay my treatment for the Streptococcus B. I just hope nothing serious and i have been drinking alot of water and drink Cranberry juice to prevent UTI. Not sure by my next appointment with my gynae, i can get the test results or not. :( As the Gynae doesn't allow me to change my appointment to a later date. She feared of the bacteria level may increase.

Hope God can bless me and my child with good health.

My Active Baby

My boy have been so active, even in the middle of the night, he will just kick me and wake me up. But now he seems to have fully developed his hearing and senses of touch. Whenever my husband or my sister tries to touch and listen to my tummy. He will give them a kick. It really makes them happy.

Recently, my boy loves to stretch, and it can cause me pain a few times. Because as he stretch, he loves to stay put for quite sometime until i felt my tummy is like being punch and then when i start to rub my tummy, he will then release his fist. Sweat man. He just loves to play with his mummy.

There's one night, as usual whenever i am about to sleep, i will rub my tummy and tell my baby that we should sleep now. Then after a few minutes, he will starts to explore his mummy's tummy and start to poke me from the right tummy to my left tummy. OMG. Such a cheeky boy i have. HAHA.

Then my husband and my sister will start their cheeky on me too. Whenever i joke to them, they will just ask my baby to kick me. Such a father and aunt my baby has. LOL. Wait till they feel his formidable kick when he is out. HAHA!

Now is six months and two days. OMG. Time is ticking. My friend told me, now he let me have some preparations from his kick. When i reach my third trimester, he will sure give a hard kick and the pain is so excruciating that baby will literally kick the ribcage and the lungs. OMG! I am going to experience these soon. But at least he will kick, i am game for it. Will have to endure!

Baby Learning Martial Arts in my Tummy

Previous night, when i slept on my right, suddenly i felt three punches on my left tummy. OMG! I was surprised by the punch and woke up in amazed. What amazed me was that, the punches are very fast and this is the first time i felt the quick and fast punches. Somehow it reminds me that baby is trying to do the IP Man Yong Chun Fist. HAHA.

Last night, i dreamt alot of things, first i have to rescue someone, and a cat helped me. Suddenly i saw my mother in my dreams, den suddenly i was woke up by a loud bang noise and saw my husband kicked the wall and the sound is like when you had a fall and your head hit on the floor that kind of sound. I saw him rubbing his toe and i asked him, you dreamt that you playing soccer isit? That was about 4am. He seems to be in sleeping mode and laugh and then rubbed his toe and fall back asleep. How funny.

Then i continue my sleep as well. As usual i woke up and went to the toliet very often. Then at this moment, i dreamt that i was at my old house, then came a tall young man and an auntie whose carrying a cat. Then i don't know them, so i didn't open the door and went back to sleep. Then suddenly my parents opened the door and let them in and the cat immediately jump on me and trying to cuddle with me. OMG. Not sure what's with the cat thingy.

Then suddenly i was at a plane at the next moment, then everything was like in chaos, then everyone was very busy and i suddenly felt my right tummy pain. And the kick was so quick and fast, i thought i was in labor (in my dreams), then i woke up and the kick was real. My boy kicked me just like the Master Wong Fei Hong, the Shadow kick and the kick lasted about 1-2 minutes. And the kick was non stop and i felt abit pain too. So i rubbed my tummy awhile and the kick slows down and eventually quietened down. I was wondering isit my boy having the dreams as well? LOL. That's what i read, baby can have dreams in their mother's tummy. But it was so funny, i took a look at the clock and is around 6am. OMG. Then i take a peek at my husband and shake my head. As i am thinking, like father like son. Both dreamt of kicking. LOL.

Not sure what's next. Both of them are so connected. Hahaha. It's a good thing afterall. :)

What my boy loves...

He loves C.S.I Miami, especially when the main character Horatio is out, he will definitely kick me.
He loves apple, each time i had one bite, he will starts to rumble inside me and kick me in awhile.
He loves Semi-sweet chocolate, i tried to ask him whether mummy should eat chocolate, he kicked me in very fast response. LOL
He loves Fillet O Fish burger, because of the tartar sauce, it really make him kick me with every bite.
He loves soccer, for the first time i watch Mexico vs South Africa, he kicked me when i shouted goal. And he knows how to pick the right timing for me to wake up to watch Spain vs Holland, and spain won. HAHA
He loves listening to me sing Twinkle, Twinkle to him, because he will not make any movement, and after i finish, he will start to rumble.
He loves his daddy voice, he will start to kick very hard whenever his daddy call him, talk to him and even read to him.
He loves to kick mummy tummy, because mummy loves his kicking, rumbling and his hiccups! And he can kick me the whole day. :)

Still trying to find out what food, things and tv show that will make him react. :)

Drug Allergy Test Appointment fixed

Okay. Called this morning around 9am to enquire how to go about fixing an appointment to do the Drug allergy test. They usually can take in privately, meaning, no need to get referral letter also can fix appointment. I asked them what about referral letter from Polyclinic? They said usually the appointment time and procedure would be longer than private. So i chose to pay private rate, cannot wait any longer. Just hope the bacteria won't spread.

So i must see a consultant first, then determine on the test. So Consultation fees itself is already $71 and exclude all medicines and tests. So estimate would costs up to $200+ i guess. Well, i need to test the whole family of Antibiotics and Painkillers. So cannot imagine how many patches they going to patch one me. haha. Just see how it goes on this Friday evening.

Yesterday, our boy seems to be very active. He kicked me the whole day and night since morning! HAHA! I am very happy that he kicked me. It is just so amazing to see and feel him kick. I have been observing my tummy. It is so wonderful, you can see his movement from my left tummy to my right tummy, and then his great kick. Hee. Then sometimes, can feel his hiccups every few seconds. LOL. My husband also observe my tummy together with me, then when he saw baby kick my tummy, he's so amazed and couldn't cover his happy smiles. Then he will talk to my tummy everyday without fail. So i am happy that he is happy and get himself involved to bond with me and baby too. :)

Today is 2nd August 2010. So technically i left 3 months or less to countdown to see my baby! Woohoo! I just can't wait to feed him, bathe him and clean his poop!!!! LOL. 120 days more! OMG!

Hee.. My boy just kick me when i call him. :)

Streptococcus B

Received a call from my Gynae on Thursday, she said the test results found that my yellow discharge have bacteria which is call Streptococcus B. A bacteria which is very common for all healthy women, but not for pregnant mothers, as it will harm the newborns. So once the baby got infected, it can be fatal.

I think she is concern because she scared there would be tear in the water bag and the bacteria might just infect the baby. So she said she can give me antibiotics drip, it can be during labor and then immediate attention to the baby or fix a date and have Cesarean. She intend to give me Penicillin, however, i am allergic to Penicillin since birth. Plus i am also allergic to a lot of antibiotics and painkillers. So she suggested that i should go for a Drug allergy patch test at the National Skin Centre to confirm what other medicines i am allergy to and try to be safe.

I have read from forums and heard from a real mother whom had experienced this before. There are lower chances baby will get infect, but some may be infected by the bacteria once the water bag burst and the baby drank the Virgina fluid during labor. So in fact, there are possibilities that baby will still be infect by it. There are mothers suggested Cesarean, because the chances are not high. I am in both dilemma now, on whether to natural birth or cesarean. But also depends on the bacteria levels now. My Gynae mentioned if the bacteria level is high, possible chances are to do a cesarean. She asked me to wait for the Nurse to call on the allergy patch test.

Just received the call today, the nurse said i must go and fix an appointment and gave me numbers to call to enquire on whether they require doctors referral letter in order to proceed. So i have to call on Monday morning and get back to the nurse.

Now i left only less than 3 months to see our precious boy to be out in this world. I am pretty excited and hope that he would be healthy too! Time really flies. Just couldn't wait. HAHA. I will stay positive and have to be happy and wait for the arrival of this naughty little boy and give him all my hugs and kisses. :)

22 Weeks

I am now in my 22 weeks pregnancy stage. Had followed up and did a detailed scan yesterday and baby is all healthy. But my Amniotic Fluid is slightly reduced, so i am worried. As it may lead to losing the baby. Baby kicked have been slightly weak for the past two days. Only yesterday when i kept drinking water, then he start to kick abit harder. I had mild diarrhea this morning, and now kept drinking water to replenish the fluid and hope that he would be able to pee more.

My gynae wanted to prescribe me low dosage of Aspirin, but am afraid that i might be allergic to it, so now i have to drink more fluid and always lay on the side, just to make sure there's blood flow to the baby and he can breathe in more oxygen. So i need more bedrest. Gynae also started to give me Fish oils, so i have to be more cautious about my diet and make sure i really drink alot of water.

I really hope that baby would be fine and that my Amniotic fluid can increase until my next appointment on 23rd August. Every time, there bound to be something new to make me worry. I really hope that my boy can see the world, me and my husband when the due date arrives.

Please bless me and my child.

Baby Clock Changed

Haha. Recently i found that my boy seems to have more genes from his Daddy. Able to make a loud thud when his daddy tried to listen to his heartbeat and feel his kick. He gave a very big kick last night and my husband was so excited. He's so amazed and he just can't stop smiling. lol. Usually my baby will start to kick me around 10pm. Now... He switched time already, and switched to 11.30pm. Oh my gawd! So late! And last night, whole night i couldn't sleep, just because he just couldn't stop kicking me. lol. And when i lay on the sides too long, i will feel sored. So the combination of soreness and his kicking. Really made me stayed up the whole night. Feels like a panda now.

Yep, talking about his daddy's genes. He loves to play drum, loves to play soccer and of course he loves to stay up late. So i guess our boy already starts to have his genes at such a young stage in my tummy. LOL! :p

Well, i am not sure what kind of genes he would get from me, but i hope that he can sing (just like me), bubbly, friendly, obedient, healthy and more and more. Of course, health is the most important. So that he would be able to go for all kinds of adventure which we would be bringing him to explore. :) Of course, i will teach him some values, so that he would be a upright and full of justice person and and and wise person. :)

Talking about these, just makes me so happy and excited. I just couldn't help to rubbed my tummy and kept talking to my baby. :)

20 Weeks and 17 more weeks to go

Time really passed very fast. Today is my officially 20 weeks of pregnant now. Wow! That's all i can feel now. i have 17 more weeks to go and we would be able to see our baby boy. So exciting and at the same time panic. Because i am not so sure i would be able to handle the pain and hope that the experience would be a good one and smooth one.

I couldn't sleep well these few weeks, as i have to sleep on sideways and cannot sleep on the back. My two knees are so sored, not cramp. It is sored. I have to sit up and stretch my leg abit. Sometimes i have to sit up and sleep. So that when my knees felt loosen then i can lay back sideways and sleep. But i am glad that baby is always kicking me everyday. I am really happy. As everyday is so peaceful and i try not to let any negative thoughts enter my brain. HAHA!

You know our baby is so cute and funny, he gave my husband and my younger sister a good kick at their ear. HAHA. They said they heard something like a drum sound. Like a "kung" sound inside the tummy. Now the baby began to familiar with them. So they are so happy and thrilled, my sister even went to bought baby clothes for our baby. LOL.

26th July 2010 would be 21 week and would be going for the detailed scan. Hope everything would be fine and normal for baby. :) Hope baby would be a cheerful and bubbly boy and healthy is the most important!

I hope i would be the best mother to my baby and the best wife to my husband. :)

Baby Kicks

Finally, now baby have moved up to my upper abdominal, which is at the belly button there. I can felt the kick whenever i lay back and rest. It is so amazing to feel his kick everyday. I think even if i feel the pain, i will still feel the happiness. At least i know he is doing fine inside my tummy. HAHA!

Now, i am at 19 weeks and 2 days, and wow.. now is July and i have exactly about 4 months and i can get to see our baby boy. hehehe.. I am so excited. Although my estimated due date would be 30th November 2010. But i think baby will still come out early. So i hope and wish that baby can come out on 25th November 2010. It is a Thanksgiving day. Hehehe.. Hope my baby can grant and feel my wishes. Hee...

Well, i have been having flu since Monday. It was so terrible feeling, because i can't take any medicine and i have to recover from the natural way. Last night i even cried infront of my husband, because i felt so terrible. My head was so heavy, i sneeze non-stop and i kept having the on off chills feeling. I have to wrapped myself and force my sweat out. So that i can recover faster, i am also afraid if i don't recover fast, baby will be harm. So i kept drinking water, popped more Bioflavournoid C and sleep more. Today i felt much better, but still need more time to recover. Because i am having cough as well. Poor me. I also wish i have a very good immune system and won't get sick easily. But what to do when a pregnant mother is prone to colds and flu.

Hope i can recover faster!

Little Prince

Went for early and first appointment with the new Gynae at Thomson Medical Centre. Met our Gynae, Dr Eunice Chua. She was being recommended by my GP, and she is so friendly and nice. She also gave us alot of information and she is so professional. I am glad that we have gone to her. She checked about my history and how long i am pregnant now. So after that, she said: " Let's see we can see the baby gender today, should be able to see now." I was so happy and then as i looked at the screen. Oh my god! The baby have grown so well and big. I felt abit excited and at the same time with goosebumps. He is facing down like a shrimp curl down, then Dr Chua tried to measure the baby head dimension and length. She said baby length is the right size for 17 weeks. And then she said: "Baby seems to be sleeping and lazy, maybe you should try to cough abit and see whether the baby will move." Then i did two coughs, then we saw baby feet starts to wriggle, then moved and bounced with two hands showing thumbs up. LOL. So cute and funny! Then she caught a glimpse of something and said: "Looked, is a boy, yes confirmed is a boy, no cover up." LOL. We are so excited and felt that baby's so cooperative and let us see that he is a boy!

My husband is extremely happy, because he can get Man United soccer jersey for his boy, and he has a companion to watch soccer with. I am happy too. To me, boy or girl, i am both also happy.

This morning, he gave me a big rumble and i can feel it. It is so obvious and till now, he couldn't stop moving inside. LOL. I am happy that he moved, i rather he move everyday and anytime. So now, we shall start buying baby's stuffs bit by bit. Hee..

Cheers!

Urinary Tract Infection

This is the most irritating and painful infection of all. The down there would be like being poked by needle and it makes me feeling very lethargic. Then i will have to go to the toliet every 5 minutes. Then now i think i have a pimple like sore near there, and it is freaking uncomfortable. So i didn't see my Gynae, as she should be out of town now.

So i took my "Nutrilite" supplements with lots and lots of water, to flush and replenish the minerals i have lost. Within one day, the pain had subsided. Thank god! But the sore is still there. Initially i thought because i accidentally had cut there during washing. But i felt one pimple-like sore, So i guess that causes the infection. I went to bought the Drapolene cream, this is used for baby nappy rash, but because i cannot anyhow try other creams, and i have been using this even before my pregnancy. So this cream is really useful for baby and even adults. I just applied this morning and the pain had subsided. So i will be continue to use it until the sore subsides.

Okay. Now is the remedy from the "Nutrilite" supplements. These supplements i have been taking for 3 years. So it has been a good buddy to me now. So if you are trying the supplements from Nutrilite, please do not mix with other brands, as results may not be the same.

So below remedies are:

3tabs,3x/day of Vitamin C plus Bioflavonoids - Produces antibacterial effect through acidification of urine.
Important in immunity function.

2 tabs,3x/day of Calcium Magnesium - Reduces bladder irritability. Aids in the stress response and works
best when balanced with calcium.

2 tabs,2x/day of Vitamin E with Lecithin - Combats infecting bacteria.

With the above remedies, you need to drink plenty of water to flush out the bacteria. So hopefully i can get better asap. :)

Cheeky Baby

These days after i felt my first baby movement, i somehow felt that my baby has connected to me quite fast. Whenever i tried to speak to my bump, it seems to understand what i meant. I know it sounds abit weird and hilarious. Remember when i said i was in such a pain with the migraine, after i cried, i felt movement? Think that's the first connection. Then these days whenever i tried to talk to my tummy, within a few minutes. My baby will respond to me.

This morning, i have difficulty in passing motion. So i thought i finally get to go to the toliet. Then within few minutes, i came out. False alarm. So i was quite irritated. Because i wouldn't want to be constipated, as i afraid that too much toxic inside not good for baby. So i touch and caress my bump and told my baby. "Baby, you have to be obedient okay, please let mummy poop today, so that you will be healthy." After i came out. Within 10 minutes, i went to the toliet and relieved. HAHA. Okay, i know it sounds abit off. But once you pregnant, constipation is your very good friend. I was so happy after that. And i am glad that baby heard me. HAHA. Now i am waiting to do more experiments to connect to my baby. While i am typing this, my baby just moved. Hehehe.

First Migraine after 6 Months

After so many months of freedom from migraine, it finally strike back to me yesterday afternoon. Whenever there is heavy downpour with lightning and thunder, my head will start to have this sharp pain. Yesterday was terribly pain. I get irritated easily and my ears also pain. Then after dinner, i began to feel nausea. I went to vomit out, and immediately the pain from my ear subsides. However my head was still pain. I can't take painkillers, even if i went to see the GP, they can't prescribe me any painkillers, as i have so many allergies to painkillers.

So i drank alot of water, and take my Nutrilite brands supplements, B complex and Calcium Magnesium. It helps to sooth my nerves and calm myself down, so that i can sleep. At around 3.45am, i was awoken by my husband's snore. How irritating. Then my head hurts still, so i woke up and take one more tablet of B complex and wait for a while and my tears beginning to flow. It was so pain, i couldn't endure it. But i still hold on to it. And after i finished crying, i began to feel tired and eventually i fall sleep at around 4plus. Then when i woke up at around 10am. I felt much better now. But i still am having my Morning Sickness. After my brunch, i vomit again. And now i felt even much better.

Maybe i have passed out all my heatiness and there's no more stress in my head. I just hope the migraine don't come back again please....

Baby First Movement

I suddenly felt my baby movement the first time of my life yesterday night. When my husband trying to use my belly button as a microphone to speak to baby. He just said, "Hello, i am daddy." Then he kept tickling me and i felt so ticklish and laugh out loud. Then suddenly i felt movement, and i just gave him a very surprised look. HAHA.

This is call quickening. Most probably we have disturbed baby's sleep, and the baby wants us to keep quiet. HAHA! I can't wait to feel more movements from the baby. Hee..

Pre-natal Courses and Confinement Lady

Yesterday, i was thinking the whole day on whether to get a confinement lady to look after me and baby after i give birth. Now i have decided to just take up the confinement catering and give my mother a chance to look after my baby and me.

Now she is going back to Thailand. So i guess these periods at least i can rest my head. Hope she would be happy there.

Now i am trying to look for places which provides pre-natal courses, preferably not so expensive. I would have to start 6 weeks later which i would be about 20 weeks pregnant. Now i have been googling the website. But my hospital doesn't conduct any courses. Only other hospital does. Wondering they would be okay, if i can take up? :P Guess i have to go and find out. hehehehe..

Baby First Hiccups

Went for checkup on Tuesday. As per usual, went to pee on a stick, take my blood pressure and weight. OMG. I have lost 0.9KG from all the vomiting and the not so good appetite.

The gynae told me that i have protein in my urine and asked me whether i have any special discharge. I told her yellow discharge, she asked is it very often. I told her no, is on and off. Then we proceed to do the ultrasound scan. At first, she wants to try whether can hear the heartbeat, but nothing. Then she proceed to the scan instead. There we see our baby and the baby is bouncing up and down. She said: " Look, the baby is moving and the baby is having hiccups, baby is doing the hiccups dance." My husband and i laughed and was amazed. We saw the round round head, the little hands and legs. And the baby bounced real high up and down. So cute!

Then the gynae says point to the screen and said this is my placenta and that is the cause of the discharge. Then after the scan, i told her that i can't take milk products and that will make me vomit the whole day. So she gave me calcium tablets and set our next appointments 6 weeks later. She said by then, it would be 20 weeks and you will be able to see the baby gender.

I am so excited and couldn't stop smiling and looked at my husband. We are so thrilled and then he can't stop touching my belly and smile. He looked at my belly and rubbed and said to my belly: "Must be obedient okay? Cannot bully mummy okay?" So sweet. Hee.

Now i have to be extremely careful and must make sure to take everything in moderation. I just hope that baby would be healthy and i am healthy as well. :)
